Description: Teachers and students often feel that math class is a struggle. What is it about our experiences that leads us to believe that we aren’t “math people” and feel as though our ideas and questions do not belong in math? In this workshop, we will explore that question and experience instructional routines and activities that engage students, help them develop positive math identities, and build their critical thinking skills and agency for test-taking and life.
